Chris Sheffield, General Manager, Million-2-1 and Director of Remote Gaming, IGT-UK
Chris Sheffield is Chief Executive Officer of Million-2-1, a leading provider of interactive services, games & mobile phone solutions. Following the company's acquisition by International Game Technology (IGT) in 2008 he is also responsible for the remote gaming operations of the IGT group.
Chris founded Million-2-1 in 2003 and introduced many new games and innovations to the gaming industry, including the highly successful reverse auction - now an international phenomenon.
Chris's career in the gaming industry has spanned some 20 years. Starting at Deloittes Gaming Division in 1987 until 1998 as Partner Principal, where he worked with companies such as William Hill, United Nations, Lloyds of London, Morgan Stanley, Bank of Japan, British Airways, NatWest, MoD, WH Smith, Jockey Club, and a number of premier league football clubs. Chris then went on to use his entrepreneurial skills to form Sportal.com and The Restaurant Game in 1998, and Eunite Ltd in 1999 which was sold to N Brown PLC in 2001 for £18 million. His entrepreneurial ability has been widely recognised and led to Chris winning two National Entrepreneur Awards.
