Million-2-1 wins SMS contract for Orion Media radio stations
Manchester, England, 6 October 2009 - Million 2-1, the UK's leading provider of interactive mobile phone services and an IGT-UK Group Subsidiary, today announces that it has won the contract to provide an SMS system for a group of Midlands radio stations.
The stations that will use Million-2-1's system are BRMB, Beacon, Wyvern and Mercia, who all broadcast contemporary music and form part of the Orion Media Group.
The Million-2-1 system, known as The Dashboard, provides the facility for presenters and production staff to receive live SMS comments into the studio, as well as set-up and manage SMS votes and competitions. All services will operate on a 25p charge rate for the listener.
